The meeting was being held as a closed session due to commercial sensitivities. As such it was agreed that the meeting would be recorded to ensure transparency should any issues be raised in the future.
2. Declarations: To receive declarations of interest and consider any written applications for dispensations
Simeon Cole for sites 6 and 7 in the assessment report.
Andrew De La Haye for any Howle Hill developments
Bob Puzey for any Bishopswood developments
3. Consultants
3.1. Review stage 1 site assessments.
After discussion, which included clarification of the flood risk assessment process by Bill Bloxsome:
It was agreed unanimously that the settlement definition maps were acceptable.
It was agreed by majority that the flood risk map data used were acceptable.
It was agreed that deliverability was assumed by the site having been submitted.
It was agreed that other criteria would be further assessed in stage 2.
It was unanimously agreed that the group accepted the assessment report as presented with three minor edits for clarity. These were:
• To add a contents page
• To add a link to the previous AECOM report on the page 17 footer.
• To add the location of the Bishopswood road signs.
3.2. To agree to publish the reviewed site assessment report on the NDP website.
It was agreed by majority that we should publish the full report.
It was agreed that prior to publication the report would be amended to show it as a “Stage 1 – DRAFT”.
It was agreed that we should inform Landowners and the Parish Council of the assessment results. following the Chair taking the Clerks advice as to whether the Steering Group have the authority to do so. The Chair to seek the clerks advice as to whether the parish council should see the report prior to publication.
Bob Puzey to ascertain the position of “Bishopswood” signs to include in the report.
4. Items for next meeting agenda
Stage 2 assessment criteria and their weighting to include “Views” and “Local wildlife sites”.
