WALFORD PARISH COUNCIL Minutes of Neighbourhood Planning Committee 18 June 2019
Held at Walford Village Hall Tuesday 18 June 2019 at 7.30pm
Present: Councillors: Simeon Cole, Richard Jackson, Ian Matthews, Bob Puzey and Monica van Lienden Non- council members: Dave Berry, Andrew De La Haye and Jon Stern
In attendance: Richard Abolins (Clerk), no members of the public.
1. Councillor van Lienden took the chair for the first item. It was resolved to appoint Andrew de la Haye as Chairman. He took over the chair.
2. Apologies for absence – there were no absences
3. Declarations of interest and written requests for dispensation – none
4. Minutes – it was RESOLVED to adopt the minutes of the meeting held on 15 April 2019 as a true and accurate record. They were signed by the Chairman.
5. Public participation session – there were no members of the public
6. Terms of reference – it was resolved to draft a document based on the Goodrich/Herefordshire Council model ready for next meeting.
7. Neighbourhood Development Plan – Councillor Berry ran through a brief history of the NDP for the benefit of the new members. He will circulate copies of the analysis of the site surveys but stressed that it should be treated as confidential until everyone had chance to read it.
7.1 The Chairman will arrange a meeting with Karla Johnson to get advice on the Council’s current position and the priorities of the different elements
7.2 The AONB management plan should be considered when developing the Plan. CPRE might also be a useful source of guidance.
7.3 Goodrich now has a plan in place, taking 3 years to achieve.

8.1.2 Finance and funding
8.1.3 Project planning.
8.2 Updates on progress
8.3 Service Level Agreement with Herefordshire Council
Members agreed to exchange email addresses.
9. The date of the next meeting – will be 16 July 2019 at 7.00 in Walford Village Hall
