a further “Site Submission Form” for land submitted by owners and/or their agents as potentially available for a range of uses across Walford Parish up to 2031 has been received. The site will be reviewed by our consultant and added to the “Meeting housing needs and site assessment report” as an addendum.
Two further “Site Submission Forms” for land submitted by owners and/or their agents as potentially available for a range of uses across Walford Parish up to 2031 have been received. The sites will be reviewed by our consultant and added to the “Meeting housing needs and site assessment report”.
Thank you, we have received some great input so far and have therefore decided to extend the deadline for input until the end of August. Once the information is in we will be holding online votes to test the popularity of the suggested input and identify “iconic” items.
1. Scenic views that you would like preserved.
Is there a parish view that you are particularly fond of, consider iconic and would not like to see spoiled? Submit a photo with GPS co-ordinates (if you use a mobile phone with location set to ‘On’ your position will automatically be recorded with the photo, or find your position on Google maps) and background information such as which direction you were facing. We will plot them on a map and include the most popular in our plan. Views must be of the parish (but can be taken from outside the parish).
2. Features and/or amenities you would like protected.
Is there a parish green space, woodland, building, tree, biodiverse verge etc. that you would want to see protected against development? Submit a photo with GPS co-ordinates (for a mobile phone set location to ‘On’ as above) and background information such as which direction you were facing. We will plot them on a map and include the most popular in our plan. Features and amenities must be inside the parish.
3. What size of housing development would you consider appropriate?
What would you consider to be an appropriate size of housing development across the parish? Does this vary by settlement? E.g. In Walford and Coughton along the B4243 11-20 might be acceptable, but for other areas 6-10 may seem large. Select from the following site sizes in your response and submit your thoughts by email:
1-5 6-10 11-20 21-30 31-40 41+
Send your photos and information to: info@walford-ndp.co.uk by 31st August 2020
Please note that by submitting your photos you are agreeing that they may be used in a parish calendar in the future.
The documents and information used by the Steering Group and our consultants to underpin the construction of the Neighbourhood Development Plan and it’s Policies, known as the “evidence base” has been added to the website.
Consisting of approximately forty documents or links the Evidence Base covers a wide range of subjects including the environment, housing, the National Planning Policy Framework and the Herefordshire Core Strategy.
